Professional Supervision & Development
Support, solutions, and 'aha' moments
The Supervision process involves therapeutic conversation, problem solving and critical reflection. In other words, we work through the tough stuff together.
As a result, you have more time and energy to focus on your goals and practice.
Quality supervision also helps to restore and maintain balance, flowing into all areas of your life.
My role as supervisor
As your supervisor, I prioritise your wellbeing with strength-focused approaches, and encourage your curiosity and personal discovery. In our sessions, you can express your important concerns in safety. By exploring context and perspective, you gain clarity, understanding, and solutions.
Knowing you will be seen, heard, and respected makes all the difference when working through the tough stuff.
Your role as supervisee
Initially, your role is to assess if we are a good relational fit for supporting you to do your job well. You will have input into the structure of sessions, choosing a framework from a range of supervision models.
We will create and use a Shared Agreement for clarifying how we will work together and provide the framework for confidentiality.
Professional and ethical
A certified Professional Supervisor, I use complementary coaching models, including:
- NLP (Neuro Linguistic Programming)
- Solution focused brief intervention
- Change theory
- Adult learning principles
I undertake regular supervision and development myself and abide by the ethics of my professional organisation, ANLP International CIC.
