To help get you there, I utilise NLP (Neuro Linguistic Programming) principles and techniques. NLP focuses on how we are communicating with ourselves and others (both consciously and unconsciously), revealing the underlying thoughts which drive us. These thoughts link to our beliefs about ourselves, others, and the world we live in, and push our emotional buttons, determining how we feel and what we do.

NLP works with the structure of thinking (or how we 'do' thinking) – images and sounds in our minds and sensations in our bodies – to bring about faster, easier change.

Session Information

Length

Session length is typically 1 hour; there is some flexibility if we find you need a little longer.

Fees and Funding

My fee is $140 per session.

If your first step is to overcome the limitation of cost, let's see if we can do that together; enquiries about funding/payment options and low-income discounts are welcome.

Number of sessions

How many sessions you might want or need is one of those questions like 'how long is a piece of string?'. There are too many factors to make an accurate prediction, however NLP is generally a brief intervention therapy. This means many issues are commonly resolved with less than six sessions, and sometimes with just one or two. (If you're looking for longer term support or transformation, we can do that too.)

Sessions can be spaced weekly, fortnightly, or longer – ultimately, it’s about the right pace for you, to get the results you want.

A safe place

My home-based office is a relaxed, comfortable, and private environment, only ten minutes from central Christchurch. If you prefer, we can meet online via Zoom.
